There were statistically significant differences between the level of acquired nurses knowledge and between the level of acquired by nurses practice pre/post workshop implementation. There were also statistically significant differences between the total score of acquired nurses knowledge and practice pre/post workshop pre/post workshop (p <0.01).Nurses opinion towards the aim of the workshop, level of training room facilities, trainers, and total evaluation of workshop showed statistically significant differences with ( p<0.01). Conclusion: An active workshop could improve nurses' level of best practice regarding the indwelling urinary catheter through improving their level of knowledge and practice. Recommendation: Results obtained in the study will be valuable as a baseline for further researches and may improve the management of an indwelling urinary catheter, with the ultimate goal of enhancing high-quality patient-centered care.
