Systematic and Phenomenological Study of Even – Even Er Isotope.

Abstract
In the present work a systematic study of even-even (_^)Er isotopes was done from the point of view, determination of momentum of inertia., backbending phenomenon, rotational energy bands, intrinsic alignment (i_α ), band crossing staggering in 𝛄 bands and coupling-decoupling between different bands were carried out.
It was found that (_^152)Er (_^154)Er (_^156)Er (_^158)Er (_^160)Er and (_^162)Er exhibited back bending at 8,8,16,18 and 18 angular momentum values respectively. Also (i_α ) nuclear intrinsic alignment was deduced to investigate the character of vibrational nuclei, at the same time the decoupling parameter was investigated.
