Factors Affecting Quality of sleep among patients with Burn Injury
Samar Galal Abu Lymoun;
Abstract
Sleep problems are commonly found after burn injury. Sleep disturbances were closely associated with certain burn characteristics including TBSA, duration of burn and associated pain intensity. Patients report sleep disturbance such as interruptions by clinicians, pain, anxiety, diagnostic testing, medical intervention, and noise. Addressing the sleep problems in such patients may be significantly helpful in management of acute phase as well as rehabilitation (Longley, et al., 2018; Jain, et al., 2018).
