8-Trends of my research work:
Since I got my Ph.D. in 2000, I remain engaged with both teaching and research activities. The prolonged training and experience I gained during my research gives me 20 years of research experience in the field of Biotechnology and applied microbiology .My research work is mainly concerned with fungal isolates (molds and yeast). My main research achievements were included in the following trends; trend (1) Study the incidence, epidemiology and pathogenesis of explored and unexplored pathogenic fungi in Egypt, Hygiene, detection, Molecular identification, susceptibility tests, and assessment of the activity of natural antimicrobial compounds. trend(2) Assessment of the biodegradation potentialities and production capability of local mold and yeast isolates . trend (3) Aspects in improvement of functional foods using probiotic yeast or fungal metabolites (mold &yeast) and assessment the significant impact of in relation to human life.
