Education and Degrees:
• M.B.B.Ch, Ain Shams Faculty of Medicine,1974 with honors
• M.Sc. in Pediatrics, 1978 (Ain Shams University) with mention very good
• M.D. in Pediatrics, 1982 (Ain Shams University)
• Post Doctoral Training: Study grant for one year (1983 84) under the supervision of Prof. J.C. Job in the Pediatric Endocrinology Department & Growth Research Laboratory (INSERM), St. Vincent de Paul Hospital, University of René Descartes, Paris, France.
On my return in 1984, I have founded the Pediatric Endocrinology
Unit; a new subspecialty.

A Phase III, Multi-centre, Randomised, Parallel Group Study of Safety and Efficacy of a New Sustained Release Formulation (LB03002) of Human Recombinant Growth Hormone (given once/week) as Compared to Standard Daily Therapy with Genotropin® in Treatment Children with Growth Failure due to Insufficient Secretion of Endogenous Growth Hormone.
